Ashraf Habibullah — Anchor Sponsor
He/Him
CEO - Computer and Structures Inc.
Ashraf Habibullah is the President and CEO of Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI), which he co-founded in 1975. He has led the development of CSI’s industry-leading structural engineering software, including SAP2000 and ETABS—tools used in designing or retrofitting buildings that define skylines worldwide. A registered Civil and Structural Engineer, Ashraf holds degrees from NED College in Karachi and the University of California, Berkeley.
Beyond engineering, he is passionate about the arts and social causes. He co-founded Diablo Ballet, founded the Engineers Alliance for the Arts, and regularly speaks for humanitarian, medical, and educational organizations—often in his signature LED-lit jackets, promoting structural engineering in popular culture. Ashraf publishes a comic book series to make engineering relatable and recently launched a fine jewelry line blending art and engineering. He has donated software to thousands of institutions globally to support access to seismic safety tools. He also actively studies human psychology to help others realize their full potential.
Without Ashraf’s generous support as our anchor sponsor, CED would not be what it is today—his vision, passion, and unwavering belief in our mission have shaped its very foundation, and we are forever grateful.
