STEM Networking & Recruitment Hour
In 2008, the Black Alliance of Scientists and Engineers (BASE), a SJSU chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) organized its first Diversity Career Fair that aimed to produce a significant turnout of underrepresented minorities.

After taking a year off due to the pandemic, BASE is proud to present the newly rebranded STEM Networking & Recruitment Hour.

For over a decade, we have provided a place for companies to NETWORK with students from various technical, cultural organizations and RECRUIT from a diverse talent pool for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions.

Please note:
Our campus partner, SJSU Career Center, is dedicated to Increasing underrepresented student access to internships and career opportunities and will host a Diversity Career Fair on Oct 7th.
We encourage you participate for additional diversity hiring needs.
